And happy week 14!
We hope you had a restful Thanksgiving break, and that the end of the semester feels like it’s only two weeks away – it really is!
There is a lot going on in the world right now, especially with the discovery of the new Coronavirus variant, consequent travel restrictions etc.. At times like these, it’s possible to feel overwhelmed and anxious for oneself, and for family and friends, near and far. It can be a daunting time, but please always remember that you are never alone. If we can be of support in any way, even just talking things through, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here – with you and for you.
From the ISPaSO’s notices desk, below is this week’s quick rundown.
COVID Travel Notice
Reminder: if you intend to travel outside the U.S. sometime soon, please beware that proof of COVID-19 vaccination will now be required to re-enter the country. Learn More.
Also, at the time of writing this, non-immigrant travelers from several countries are barred from entering the U.S. following the discovery of the Omicron variant. A lot is still uncertain; for most up-to-date advisory, we encourage you to contact ISPaSO if you’re planning to travel outside the country.

To avoid late fees if you are unsure about your travel plans, we recommend signing up and, if you end up not needing housing, you can cancel. Sign up today
Employment during Winter Break
We are aware that it’s been hard to find job opportunities on campus during the break and we’re looking into the issue. How is your search for on-campus employment going? Are you finding the number of weekly work hours you’re looking for? Please fill out this quick survey to help us understand the situation better.
Wishing you a great week ahead!
