I am grateful to have been raised on the native W̱SÁNEĆ lands, colonially known as Victoria, British Columbia. During my time at Principia I was a member of the mediation team for four and a half years, serving as team captain my final year. I also was consistently involved on my house board (Howard House) serving roles including Social Head, New-Student Head, and President. I am motivated by the call to be an advocate and aspire to fulfill that call through library work in a space that decolonizes and reframes the historical narrative to embrace intersectional voices in an indigenized approach. I love connecting with people, thinking critically, continuously learning, and uncovering Truth which is what I hope to achieve above all.
